On Your Wedding Day

 

• First off, Enjoy yourself, and all the pampering you’re going to receive on your big day.
• Smile. Breathe. Relax. Leave all the details to your wedding coordinator (you do have a wedding planner, right?).
• Be ready before you need to be – avoid the stress of having to rush.
• I probably don’t need to tell the ladies to get some great shoes and accessories – they can often be a great addition to your portraits and detail shots.
• Whether it be from a friend or a salon, treat yourself to a good manicure and pedicure. You’ll be showing off your ring, bouquet, accessories, etc., so make sure those toes and fingers are pretty.
• Professional hair and makeup artists know all the little tricks for what looks best in a photoshoot that are extremely helpful.
• Have the maid-of-honor keep your hairspray, bobby pins, powder, mirror, safety pins, and lipstick/gloss easily accessible for quick touchups.
